Terms and conditions

By agreeing to a quotation, either verbally or in writing, Paul Tinsley Decorating will assume that the client has read and understood fully our Terms and Conditions.

Paul Tinsley Decorating shall not be liable for any failure to complete a project on time that is caused by conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to, Acts of God, Government restrictions, wars, insurrections, fire, flood, drought, lockout and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.

Where applicable, the Customer is responsible for the accuracy of any drawings, designs and/or specifications submitted to Paul Tinsley Decorating.

Paul Tinsley Decorating reserves the right to request interim payments on projects that are scheduled to continue for longer than thirty calendar days from the first date work commences. This can be in the form of providing an invoice for all works completed at the end of thirty calendar days or a percentage of all works undertaken at that point, at the discretion of Paul Tinsley Decorating.

If areas/items have been quoted separately, each area/item is treated as a singular project and will be invoiced accordingly.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to any work commencing, payment is due not later than fourteen days after date of completion. Any failure to remunerate Paul Tinsley Decorating will result in further interest charges in accordance with the legal regulations at that time, which at time of writing is currently The Bank Of England interest rate and an additional 8% of the overdue balance and also our legal costs.

Once work commences, all prices provided by written quotation are final and are not subject to negotiation.

While every effort will be made on our part to meet all agreed deadlines, commencement or completion dates are given by Paul Tinsley Decorating at any time, are estimates only and are not legally binding.

All quoted prices are exclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of invoice, currently 20%.
